Casting Lab

Casting analysis is an important tool that enables an instructor to diagnose a casting fault and correct the fault in short order.

The clip or clips provided in this section will vary from time to time and may change often depending on your abilities to correctly diagnose a casting fault and offer the possible correction for the fault demonstrated on any given clip. Some faults will be easier to diagnose than others depending on your level of expertise.

Over at the Casting Pool you can discuss the fault and correction with other instructors who have viewed the same clip. We expect to show as many clips as there are casting faults. If you would like to submit a DVD clip to be analyzed in this section feel free to send it along, and we will put it up for all to view and comment upon. Video analysis of casting faults and applied corrections will enhance your awareness as an FFF casting instructor. Please enjoy the show!
